Really nice to see this. My little cousin was adopted as well as a 2 week old infant and at the tender age of 5 (when her parents told her of her adoption) , she pulled me aside and tried to reaffirm our relationship by telling me what her parents had told her ( …that God meant for her to be with them). It was almost as if she was trying to establish if everything was cool between us and that nothing would change. I couldn’t believe just how mature and enlightened this little 5 year old angel was / is .It reduced me to tears. Her mum (my aunt) did tell me that although i was her favourite person , when i had my own kids , i would be more partial towards them. Now that i have had my own kids , nothing has changed. She is still my favourite cousin / person in the world. Just thought i’d share this. Thanks for this website and wonderful job you guys are doing.
